For the $36 I paid for it this burner unit does what it needs to well. The connector on the gas line is quirky so I often need to wiggle it for the gas to flow and the adjustment knob does not allow for any fine adjustments of the flame. It doesn't give an overly hot flame like the units meant for deep frying turrkeys, and using a regular propane tank lasts longer than camp style burners with the small butane tanks.
