I own one of these, if you ever need a spark this item will deliver no matter the weather.

Be aware it is NOT a guaranteed fire starter, YOU still need to supply the tender and fuel to work with, this just gives you the best tool for the job once your ready to start.

Seems to work great, but the plastic is a little cheap. I might put duct tape around it to reinforce it. At the end of the day, a good product at an even better price.

It does seem a little bit flimsy, like a good fall on a cold day could break the case. It will start dry tinder just as well as a match, unless it is windy, then it works better than a match.
