Both the burner and the stand are much better made than I expected. The flame has a good control dial and can be turned from a very low flame to a flamin' high flame. The feet on the base can be dialed in or out from the base. The base fits quite snuggley onto the propane canister. I like that it has four supports for your pan/can/kettle.When I first tried to screw the burner onto the canister it looked like the orifice of the burner was too small to allow the canister to screw in, but with a gentle nudge and twist, I was able to merge them together without stripping the threads.
