I orginally bought several in Walmart. I have literally used them several times a month (every month) for 3 years now. They are still going strong. I started shopping at a wholesale store and needed more of these bags, so I bought similar bags at another store. After I use them I wipe the insides out and while doing so I discovered the "similar bags" have holes in them. So I will stick with these bags, they last years! It says they hold up to 30 pounds, I can attest to that maybe even more. They are very easy to flip inside out and wipe with a disenfectant wipe. On average my cold groceries sit in these bags for 1 - 2 hours, sometimes in a burning hot car while I shop in other stores and when I get home the stuff is still very cold, as a matter of fact when I open the bags I feel the cold swoosh out the bag. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful Large well insulated foil bags, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Giant Hot or Cold Insulated Food Bag - Holds 30 Lbs! I can get two half gallon containers of ice cream into these bags without any problem. They also work well for pizza pickup. The insulating properites seem quite sufficient for traveling from the grocery store in hot weather with ice cream. I keep a couple of them in the trunk of my car all the time. They seem nice and sturdy and snap together securely at the top for an almost air tight seal. I haven't done any rigorous testing on their insulating capabilities or anything; but they seem to keep the temperature pretty well. I don't think any size take-out pizza box other than personal size would fit in there. They were a great price on Amazon too. |
