I ordered this product for the large amount of coffee we consume at our yearly deer camp.I had read the reviews about the lid but thought we could be careful with it. I was shocked at the cheap design of this coffee pot. The lid did not fit properly and the stem inside the pot is weak,in fact had a slight bend upon delivery.I did not have time to get another so I took a chance(BAD CHOICE).The pot boiled over because the lid did not fit and the steam tried to bend if we tried to clean it. This pot is only good for heating water and not making coffee. Stay away unless you can find a way to replace the lid and guts of this pot!!!! This is the first time I have been disapointed with an Amazon product.

Nice heavyweigh Stainlee Steel. Poor hinge on top. Raised bottom not very good on electric ranges or to keep hot. Good sturdy product except hinge on lid.

I bought this for use on camp-outs with our Cub Scout pack. It fits the bill great. We usually have about 25-30 adults and trying to make coffee at 8-12 cups at a time on a camp stove just wasn't cutting it.
With this I can get up and have the first pot done and in a cooler before most even get up with the second pot well on its way.
My only issue so far is the glass top on the lid which has chipped already but its still functional (just a cosmetic issue). I guess that is why they include two in the box so its not really much of an issue for me.
