To get a usable number of days' supply per bucket, divide the serving size by eight. Freeze dried food storage for a bug out is Ok. But why store this stuff for long term, stay put, needs. Buy canned goods, the same stuff you buy at your grocer every week! Canned good will last forever, at least longer then you will live. Check it out. The expiration date on a canned good is a Government mandated thing, the seller picks a one to two year date and uses that. Any canned good will outlast you, as long as it is stored in the proper manner. Cool, dry and not large temperature swings. The seller would like you to chuck the expired stuff and buy more, got ya. Wise freeze dryed food is OK at best. Good if your starving, but give me an old can of Dinty Moore! |
